Summer Camp – 2023

We are excited to share with you our 2023 Waldo School summer camp programs! Our summer camp offers four different sessions for parents to choose from with multiple timing options to help meet the needs of our families. We have also designed two separate summer camp programs, one for preschoolers and one for Kindergartners – 8th Graders!

Waldo Preschool STEAM Summer Camp (PreK 2, PreK 3, PreK 4)

Our exciting summer camp program is a balance of fun and creativity, with an emphasis on student-driven, inquiry-based approaches to learning! During each week’s unique theme, such as Under the Sea, Silly Scientists, and Healthy Habits, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) will be incorporated in a hands-on way. Campers will have opportunities to continue to build on their academic skills, such as phonics and reading. Our camp also features daily outdoor time!

Waldo STEAM Summer Camp – In-Person (Kindergarten – 8th Grade)

Featuring robotics, engineering, art, programming and coding activities, campers will problem solve and collaborate on projects using the latest technology in a student driven, inquiry-based setting! Campers will explore exciting, STEAM-focused themes, such as Crazy Chemistry, Architecture Design, Funky Physics and Engineering the Future! Campers will also lean about a different sport each week in our gymnasium, and participate in daily outdoor time and walking trips to the waterfront. Twice per week, campers will spend their entire morning at the local Marin Green park!

Note that campers will be placed in the age group they completed in the 2022—2023 school year. Please see below for more information regarding both summer camp programs, including additional information about each session and the digital application forms. Please submit your application on or before May 26th, 2023.  Payment for Session 1 and 2 will be processed through Tuition Express upon receipt of your application.Payments for Sessions 3 and 4 will be processed on May 26th, 2023.
